Black-and-white illustration titled Genre and Subgenre Activity 4. A bearded god in a laurel wreath, wrapped in flowing robes, reaches toward the night sky from a bank of clouds. A young woman with long wavy hair reaches up beside him as ribbons of starlight swirl around them. Below, a quiet lake, pine trees, and snowy mountains sit under the stars. Caption: Long ago the night sky was dark and still. The Sky God wanted the stars to move and dance.
